NEWSLETTER DECEMBER 2022
Newsletter for December 2022 Please
note any news or information for the newsletter to be passed on to Jan Bridle
anytime; also if anyone has changed their email address or set up any new
addresses could they please let Jan know.
Branch subs Subscriptions for 2022 remain at £17 and are due now. Please support the branch by paying the £17 either by internet banking or cheque made out to REA Bournemouth. For bank account details please contact John Cusack by phone or by email, numbers above.
Branch meetings and monthly lunches
These are informal, social
meetings where any news etc. can be passed on to those attending, and added to
the newsletter for others to read. This month’s Saturday morning
breakfast/brunch meeting on the 10th December will be the last
Saturday brunch meeting as it has not proved popular enough with other RBL
members in Ferndown to make it a viable prospect for the club. As before please
let John Cusack know if you will be there to give the RBL an idea of numbers.
We do hope that you will be able to attend this one as unfortunately there will
be no Christmas lunch this month as we did not get the minimum of 30
attendees. The next lunch will be on the
24th January 2023.
Birthdays of Note
This month we say a very Happy
Birthday to Douglas Randall who will be 80 at the end of December and also a
belated Happy Birthday to Hank Lawrence, our webmaster, who was 80 at the
beginning of November.
REA Branch Website
We would like to remind all of
you who use internet technology that the newsletters can also be read on our

general..
Remembrance Sunday 13th November
These were attended by several
members, Bob Perry laid the REA wreath at Poole Park, and John
Cusack at Bournemouth. Poppy crosses were also laid in memory of Bob
Hucklesby and Alan Badger. Maurice Pearson paraded the branch Standard at
Ferndown RBL in the morning and again at West Moors in the afternoon
Christmas 2022
The branch wishes everyone a very
