FESTIVAL OF REMEMBRANCE 2015 - Invitation to Bob Hucklesby
Copy of
invitation to Bob.
"We would
like you to participate in this years Festival of Remembrance to assist with a
moment of reflection where we are asking the audience to consider the
sacrifices made by those involved with the Far East
campaign. I would like you and four other veterans, to simply stand on the
arena floor of the Royal Albert Hall, while Huw Edwards reads a couple of lines
about you, and most importantly, what and who you represent. I intend to have
veterans to represent the POWs (yourself), Army, Navy RAF and Civilians. It is
a very important part of the event – especially with this year being the 70th
anniversary." Invitation from Mr
Glenn Barton, Event Producer BBC.
