Bob Hucklesby has been to hospital for a pacemaker to be fitted. He is home and OK.
George Bubb is in Wareham Hospital undergoing tests, & awaiting an operation at Southampton.

Branch Annual Lunch, Cumberland Hotel, Bournemouth - Saturday 8th May 2010
The Branch Annual Lunch will be held at the Cumberland Hotel, East Overcliff Drive. Bournemouth, BH13AF on Saturday 8th May - 12 noon for 12.30 pm. The subsidized cost for members and families has been held at £13.00. Other guests will be charged at the full rate of £15.50p. A copy of the menu was attached to the March newsletter.
Please return your menus together with your cheques for the appropriate amounts to Peter Piggott this evening or no later than Sunday 26th April. The Guest of Honour will be Lieut Col (Retd) J R McLennan - Controller REA.

The Annual Mayor of Poole's Civic Service and Parade for 2010 will held on Sunday 23rd May 2010 at 10.15 am. Will anybody wishing to attend please advise me asap.

Annual Battle of Britain Commemoration Service 2010 – 70th Anniversary - Sunday 19th September
A letter has been received from the Royal Air Forces Association, Poole Branch giving advance notice that the above service which will be held at St. James Parish Church, Poole and inviting the Branch to be represented at same. There will be no parade as such. They would like other Ex-Service Associations to parade their Standards.

Royal Engineers Museum, Chatham
2 Forem Group Tickets giving free access to the Museum in 2010 have been received, and will be available from The Secretary for use by all members desiring to visit it.
