Branch subs    There are still a few people who have not paid their subs for 2020. The committee have decided that all members who have paid their subs this year are exempt for 2021 to compensate for the lack of branch meetings and activities. Please support the branch by paying the outstanding amount of £17 either by internet banking or cheque made out to REA Bournemouth.  For bank account details please contact John Cusack on 01202 517804.

Branch meetings and monthly lunches.   We do not now expect to resume branch activities at the Ferndown RBL for some time now due to a problem with their roof. If anyone has any ideas for an alternative lunch venue please let us know. It should be fairly central, plenty of free parking, not too expensive and able to seat groups of up to 24 people.

Birthdays  This month we wish a very happy 65th birthday on 16th May to our President, Alan Grover.  Also this month Keith Butt is celebrating his 85th birthday on 24th May and John Goodwin will be 70 on the 21st of May. We wish them all a very happy birthday.

Best wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery are sent to Phil Webster who was admitted to Bournemouth hospital after a fall and is now back at home recovering.  Also to Bert Martin who has broken his toe and is hopping mad!!! We hope they both get back to their normal happy selves as soon as possible.

The late Bob Hucklesby   His relatives are planning a celebration of Bob's life at some point in the summer and is keen to get a feel for how many of the REA might want to attend. They have no date or location yet, so just want a rough number. Please contact Bob Perry if you would like to attend the celebration.
