What a splendid turn out by
the branch for Richard’s funeral on 14th June. Bert paraded the branch standard and the RBL
Standard was there also. The Last Post and Reveille was played, a special
thanks to Kevin from the Royal Marines Band Service for his help and guidance.
Thank you to Maj. John Carter for taking charge of the guard of honour, and to Val
Cusack for doing one of the readings and to all who attended. Thank you to Zoe
and Leigh from the Ferndown British Legion for organising the Wake. Farewell Richard, RIP our friend.
Donations in memory of Richard to the Forest Holme Hospice or the RBL direct. Thank you

Social As ever our Annual lunch was much enjoyed by all who attended, the change of venue made no difference to either the service or the quality of the meal. The different way of holding the raffle was a real treat. Many thanks go to Maurice Pearson for all his hard work making it such a lovely occasion.
