THE CITATION
READS.
Lance Corporal Beharry has made an immediate and significant impact since
his arrival within 6
Headquarters
and Support Squadron. New in post and
with no guidance or formal handover
Lance Corporal Beharry has embraced the challenges of running
the SQMS dept, carrying out
the
duties of a SSqt on a daily basis and occasionally the duties of the Squadron
Quartermaster.
A
natural within the G4 arena, Lance Corporal Beharry consistently goes the extra
mile to get the job done, no mountain is too high. With a proactive attitude he always has the answer to the next
question. He has worked tirelessly with
little support preparing the Sqn for multiple inspections, without his efforts
the Sqn would have failed to achieve the required standard . He has implemented
new working practices and sharpened up old practices. He is spearheading the preparation for the Sqns migration to MJDI
& JAMES and his enthusiastic attitude.
His
maturity, work ethic & commitment is rarely found and he has proved to be
an outstanding role model for his sub-ordinates and peers alike.
Prior
to his arrival at 22 Engineer Regiment Lance Corporal Beharry completed his
JNCO Cadre, his class 1 Logistic
Specialist Course where he was awarded top student and his MJDI Course where he
again excelled and was awarded top student.
Not only is Lance Corporal
Beharry a consummate professional in
his trade, but he is also a key sportsman who enjoys
representing 22 Engr Regiment in
various sports including cricket and volleyball.
Major
M. Homer RE. commented, “I have met
few if any; Lance Corporals like him in my
career and have massively positive visions of where he will sit in 22 years time.”
FOR HIS DETERMINATION AND DEDICATION TO THE REGIMENT,
LANCE
CORPORAL BHARRY IS AWARDED THE ALBERT HICKS' MEMORIAL AWARD.
