This year’s lunch was well attended and enjoyed by all. The weather was extremely kind to us and many wished they had worn swimming gear instead of formal wear.

Welfare
Peter Piggott, having taken on welfare again, visited Poole Hospital on 28th April to see George Wilby who is back in and John Friberg who is still there. When Peter saw John, aka Rocky, he was in his scout uniform as he had just been presented with his Silver Wolf Award, the highest award in scouting. Normally this would have been presented at Windsor Castle Chapel but due to John’s illness the Scouting Organisation arranged to for it to be awarded in Poole Hospital Chapel instead. Peggy made a cake to celebrate the occasion which was attended by his family and many scouts.
