Things I Brought Home and Kept
This is from a magazine called The Canal Zoners, August issue. (and thanks to Bert and Dot for bringing this to our attention)
Mike Herbert was a dog handler whilst serving in the Canal Zone. One of the items he brought back was his dog’s nameplate (BUSTER) which was over the kennel.
Mind you, he had to leave all his shirts behind to make room in the suitcase!  He still has it on view above the work bench in the garage.  Michael C. Herbert RE 8ESBD 1954-55
